Albert Lea High School alumnus James Norgard, a 1974 graduate and now an actor in the Twin Cities, will be staffing the “Films of Christopher R. Mihm” merchandise table at Chapel Con on July 21 at Albert Lea City Arena.

Over the past several years, Norgard has worked closely with Mihm, a Twin Cities writer/director who produces tongue-in-cheek homages to the classic, black and white horror and science fiction films of the 1950s, according to a press release. Norgard has appeared in such family-friendly Mihm productions as Attack of the Moon Zombies, House of Ghosts, The Giant Spider, The Late Night Double Feature (The Wall People), Danny Johnson Saves the World, Weresquito-Nazi Hunter and Demon with the Atomic Brain.

All of Mihm’s films and other merchandise will be on sale at his booth at Chapel Con, Albert Lea’s own science fiction/fantasy convention. His movies are also available at www.sainteuphoria.com and amazon.com.

Norgard will be available for free autographs and photos from 11 a.m. until closing.
