Coach-pitch, tee-ball programs teach area youth basics of baseball

The purpose of coach-pitch is to start to teach younger players how to hit a pitched baseball. Players get a few tries to hit one of the pitches thrown out by a coach, before a tee is brought out to hit off of. – Colleen Harrison/Albert Lea Tribune
