Woman accused of stalking Lake Mills man texted him 696 times in 3 weeks

LAKE MILLS — A Minnesota woman will be arraigned Aug. 24 on a Winnebago County felony stalking charge.
Katie Louise Christian, 34, of Emmons violated a no contact order 709 times between April 1 and April 22, according to the Lake Mills Police Department.
She sent 696 text messages to the man named in the no-contact order, made 10 phone calls and went to his house three times in an attempt to make contact with him or his daughter, charging documents state.
Christian also is charged with eight counts of violation of a no-contact order and two counts of harassment.
