1 arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested and cited Luis Fred Cardenas, 28, for misdemeanor domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 1:19 a.m. Tuesday at 620 Garfield Ave.

 

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Marcine Kay Miranda, 58, on an Olmsted County warrant at 9:10 p.m. Monday at 433 Maurice Ave. At the scene, police cited Miranda for possessing a small amount of marijuana.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Taw Lay on a Ramsey County driving while intoxicated warrant at 7:37 a.m. Monday at 21714 733rd Ave.

 

Items stolen

Signs supporting Mayor Vern Rasmussen Jr.’s re-election bid were reported stolen at 10:41 a.m. Monday at 1311 W. Front St. The number of signs taken and suspects were not identified.

An iPad and trail camera were reported stolen out of a truck at 2:57 p.m. Monday at 2808 Bridge Ave.

Items were reported missing from a residence at 2:30 p.m. Monday at 105 W. Netherlands Ave. in Hollandale.
