Failure to register as predatory offender reported

A report of a predatory offender failing to register was filed at 4:03 p.m. Thursday in Albert Lea.

 

4 arrested, cited for violations

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Eric James Fisher, 34, for felony fifth-degree methamphetamine possession, possessing a small amount of marijuana, possessing drug paraphernalia and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation during a traffic stop at 11:07 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of 820th Avenue and 255th Street.

Albert Lea police arrested John Anthony Garza, 28, on a Department of Corrections warrant during a traffic stop at 1:30 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Southeast Broadway and St. John Avenue. At the scene, Garza was cited for providing false information. Police cited Sarah Jo Whitefeather, 42, for driving after revocation and having no insurance.

Police arrested Daniel Dean Eggers on three local warrants at 12:17 p.m. Thursday at 621 E. 11th St.

 

Burglary, thefts reported

A house was reported broken into at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at 915 Ulstad Ave. A television, clothes and other items were missing. A suspect was identified. Entry was made through the bedroom window.

A bike was reported stolen out of a garage at 2:14 p.m. Thursday at 620 Glenview Drive.

A theft from a truck was reported at 3:29 p.m. Thursday at 111 E. Clark St. No suspects were identified.

A theft of pumpkins and plants was reported at 3:40 p.m. Thursday at MarketPlace Foods, 1619 W. Main St.

A gas-drive off allegedly occurred at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at 1820 Margaretha Ave. Checks were also reported as having been returned stolen.

A theft by check report was filed at 9:54 a.m. Thursday at 1840 Margaretha Ave.
