1 arrested for drug possession

Albert Lea police arrested Dawn Lauren Bierman, 26, for fifth-degree drug possession and theft/shoplifting after a suspicious person was reported at 12:26 a.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

 

1 arrested for domestic violation

Police arrested Kenneth Deyemi Dean, 34, for a domestic abuse no-contact order violation after disorderly conduct was reported at 1:36 a.m. Saturday at 1714 S.E. Marshall St.

 

Thefts, damage reported

A trailer, generator and engine were reported stolen from a Verizon cell tower at 1:47 p.m. Friday at 2621 Y.H. Hanson Ave.

A fifth-floor hallway was reported destroyed at 4:11 p.m. Sunday at Shady Oaks Apartments, 800 S. Fourth Ave. A suspect was identified.

Possible check fraud was reported at 12:47 p.m. Friday at SuperAmerica, 23087 Minnesota Highway 13.

A garage in an empty lot was reported broken into at 9:56 a.m. Saturday at 2201 Gene Ave.

 

6 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Christina Marie Jepson, 30, for fifth-degree drug possession and three local warrants after an arrest warrant execution was reported at 10:53 a.m. Saturday at 604 Giles Place.

Police arrested Joshua David Scott, 30, on a Department of Corrections warrant at 11:54 a.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Raul Alejandro Leon, 19, on warrants from Freeborn and Mower counties after suspicious people were reported at 1:02 a.m. Saturday at 16560 720th Ave.

Police arrested Destiny Deann Deluna, 22, on a Texas warrant at 12:13 a.m. Sunday at Walmart.

Police arrested Antwan Darcell Thomas, 44, on a DOC warrant after a report that a man was trying to take a truck and said, “the Lord wanted him to take it and meet him” was filed at 9:05 a.m. Sunday at 614 Bridge Ave. Thomas was allegedly involved in the theft of a Saturn Outlook from Austin and is thought to have mental health problems.

Police arrested Troy Michael Riles, 51, on a Mower County warrant during a traffic stop at 12:58 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and West Front Street.

 

1 arrested for drunken driving

Police arrested Ronald William McGhee, 60, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated, having a .08 blood alcohol content or more within two hours and driving after revocation during a traffic stop at 2:06 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of West College Street and South First Avenue.

 

Tobacco violation reported

A tobacco violation was reported at 11:28 a.m. Friday at Albert Lea High School, 2000 Tiger Lane.
