Allison Engel and Aaron Bartholmey of Colfax, Iowa, announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Michelle Engel and Gary and Tamme Engel of Oskaloosa, Iowa, and the granddaughter of Frank and Judy Greenhalgh. She is a 2010 graduate of Wartburg College. She is a teacher of gifted students.

The groom is the son of Bill and Mary Bartholmey of Albert Lea and the grandson of Helen Baker and Deloris Bartholmey. He is a 2005 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2009 graduate of Wartburg College. He is a math teacher.

A March 16, 2019, wedding is planned in Newton, Iowa.
