I have lived in Albert Lea for the past 10 years, but I am originally from Pepin, Wisconsin.

Favorite teacher of all time and why: Mr. Barickman. History has always been my favorite class, and Mr. Barickman is so knowledgeable on everything he makes the class so interesting.

Favorite book/author: “Anna Karenina” by Leo Tolstoy

Current/past activities, volunteer work and accomplishments: I helped work on political campaigns this year. I am in chorale, youth in government, student council, knowledge bowl and I was captain of the swim team.

What do you want to do after high school?

Go to college on the East Coast and hopefully go to law school

What advice would you give to younger students in Albert Lea?

Don’t be afraid to try something new. High school is a time to grow and explore, so never give up trying.
