An Albert Lea man was injured Saturday when the vehicle he was driving went into the median on a snowy and icy patch of Interstate 35 north of Clarks Grove.

Marlin Rodriguez, 27, was taken to Mayo Clinic-St. Marys campus with at least one injury deemed not life-threatening.
Rodriguez was driving a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am north on I-35 when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to go into the median before 10 a.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Rodriguez was not wearing his seat belt, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, the report states.
