1 arrested for drunk driving

Albert Lea police arrested Traid Lee Mason, 28, for driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop at 1:45 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Elizabeth Avenue and East Main Street.

 

1 cited for tobacco possession

Police cited one person for tobacco possession at 10:03 a.m. Monday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

 

Drug violations reported

Drug violations were reported at 1:11 p.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

 

Burglary, thefts reported

Video of someone in someone else’s home looking through things while the person was gone was reported at 1:13 p.m. Monday at 207 S. Independence Ave. in Clarks Grove.

Theft by fraud was reported at 5:39 p.m. Monday at 340 Second Ave. NW in Glenville. Someone reported receiving a call referencing his wife having a Texas warrant. She gave her Social Security number and the name of her bank.

A theft of service was reported at 8:21 a.m. Monday at Albert Lea maintenance garage, 414 Commercial St. Water was reported stolen.

Stolen checks were reported at 1:38 p.m. Monday at 928 W. Front St.

A break-in was reported at 1:43 p.m. Monday at 204 McArthur Drive.

A purse was reported taken from a car at 3:19 p.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway Ave. The incident allegedly occurred Sunday on James Avenue. Other items were left in the car.

A vehicle theft report was filed at 3:32 p.m. Monday at 1800 Sorenson Road. A leased truck was thought to be in Texas.

A theft report was filed at 9:40 p.m. Monday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
