2 taken to hospital after crash
Mason Chandler, 17, of Rochester and Collin Scott Clark-Johnson, 16, of Hollandale were taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea via private vehicle after a crash was reported at 2:40 p.m. Monday north of the intersection of 840th Avenue and Minnesota Highway 251. Chandler was driving a 2006 Chevy Malibu north on 840th Avenue when he lost control while driving through curves in the road, rolling the car while traveling 30 mph, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office. Clark-Johnson was a passenger in the vehicle.
1 arrested for drunk driving
Albert Lea police arrested Samuel Josiah Adams-Kortz, 21, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and having a .08 blood alcohol content during a traffic stop at 11:07 p.m. Monday at the intersection of West Clark Street and North Washington Avenue.
4 arrested, cited for drug possession
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Audrey Nicole Robins, 25, for fifth-degree marijuana wax possession during a traffic stop at 2:35 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of East Clark Street and South Newton Avenue.
Deputies cited Dustin James Weber, 38, for disorderly conduct and possession of 1.4 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop at 1:58 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Freeborn County Road 26 and 170th Street.
Police cited Hollisha Denise Washington, 28, for possessing a small amount of marijuana after a careless driving complaint was filed at 6:44 p.m. Monday at 130 W. College St.
Police arrested Phyllis Lee Droz, 55, on a local warrant and fifth-degree controlled substance possession after yelling and swearing was reported on an open 911 line at 5:47 p.m. Tuesday at 527 1/2 W. Main St. On the call back, a female allegedly said “there was a lot going on there and hung up,” police state.
3 cited for violations
Police cited Lucas Paul Jerdee with tampering with a motor vehicle after receiving a report at 1:24 p.m. Friday that someone was letting air out of the tires on a vehicle at 423 Court St.
2 cited for violations
Deputies cited Jose Angel Gutierrez, 24, for disorderly conduct after a neighbor was described as playing loud music or games and having the window open and being loud after a noise complaint/disturbance was reported at 8:11 p.m. Tuesday at 206 Concord St. in Emmons.
Police cited Nathan Ryan Holst, 30, for leaving the scene of a crash after a vehicle allegedly hit a van, pushing it into a tree at 3:40 a.m. Tuesday at 218 W. College St.
Items stolen
Approximately eight to 10 Ryobi 18-volt tools and chargers, all nearly brand-new, were reported stolen out of a car at 1:01 p.m. Tuesday at 817 Marshall St. Approximately 11 18-volt Ryobi batteries were also taken.
Harassment reported
Someone reported a 15-year-old girl being harassed by a 28-year-old man at 10:47 a.m. Monday at 205 W. Main St. in Geneva.

Albert Lea police cited Lucas Paul Jerdee with tampering with a motor vehicle after receiving a report at 1:24 p.m. Friday that someone was letting air out of the tires on a vehicle at 423 Court St.
