1 arrested for violations

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Holly May Hatfield, 27, for providing false information to police and being an ineligible person in possession of ammunition at 3:22 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 90, five miles east of the Oakland exit.

 

1 arrested for drunk driving

Albert Lea police arrested Marissa Nicole Talamantes, 26, for driving while intoxicated after a report of a woman stumbling into a vehicle was filed at 10:53 p.m. Friday at 1318 E. Main St.

 

1 arrested for domestic assault

Deputies arrested Hikari Meyer, 26, for misdemeanor domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 1:07 a.m. Sunday at 30370 780th Ave., northeast of Clarks Grove.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Deputies arrested Rachel Morris, 34, on a Dakota County warrant during a traffic stop at 11:13 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 13 and east Interstate 90 lanes. Deputies cited Morris for driving after revocation and having no proof of insurance.

 

Vehicle, phone stolen

A vehicle was reported stolen at 5:24 p.m. Saturday at 240 Euclid St. in Alden. The suspect knew the alleged victim and was described as being 5 feet, 2 inches tall with dyed black hair.

A phone was reported taken from a vehicle after it was towed following a driving while intoxicated arrest at 10:53 a.m. Friday at 128 Garfield Ave. 

A home was reported broken into at 11:13 a.m. Friday at 916 Ramsey St.

Two theft reports were filed at 12:45 p.m. Friday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

Both driver’s side vehicle tires were reported cut at 8:25 a.m. Saturday at 1305 St. John Ave.

A $33.01 gas drive-off involving a white four-door Jeep was reported at 9:16 a.m. Saturday at Freeborn County Co-op., 1820 Margaretha Ave. Minnesota State Patrol was notified.

Someone reportedly shot a front window with a BB gun twice at 11:11 a.m. Saturday at 602 E. 16th St.

An EBT card was reported stolen at 11:26 a.m. Saturday at a residence in Albert Lea. The card was reportedly used several times at locations.

 

Crimes against children reported

A sex crime with a child victim was reported by Mower County to Freeborn County at 11:04 a.m. Friday.

A sex crime with a child victim was reported at 2:08 p.m. Friday in the Geneva area.

A child in need of protection was reported at 5:34 p.m. Friday in Freeborn County.

A Department of Human Services child abuse/neglect report was filed at 11:04 a.m. Friday in Freeborn County.

A sex crime with a child victim was reported Saturday in Albert Lea.

 

Threatening behavior reported

A boy reportedly threatened to shoot at least one other person at 4:36 p.m. Friday at 116 W. Clark St. A boy was released to his mother. No citations were reported.
