1 arrested for drunk driving
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Ali Rae Weisert, 31, for third-degree driving while intoxicated, having at least a .08 blood alcohol content within two hours and failing to signal during a traffic stop at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of West College Street and Washington Avenue. Weisert reportedly tested at a .16 blood alcohol content.
1 arrested on warrant
Albert Lea police arrested Joseph Charles Berg, 43, on a Ramsey County warrant at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday at 1431 Spartan Ave.
Child abuse reported
Someone was reportedly looking to meet an Albert Lea police officer referencing a child abuse case at 5:49 p.m. Tuesday in Albert Lea.
Items stolen
A Michael Kors shoulder strap black bag containing items and a cellphone was reported stolen from a vehicle at 9:21 a.m. Wednesday at 310 E. Eighth St. The value was $250.
A report of someone trying to change an address on someone else’s direct deposit was filed at 10:46 a.m. Wednesday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
Someone reportedly tried to break into a pop machine at 8:28 a.m. Wednesday at 80860 110th St. in the Glenville area. The incident allegedly occurred during the overnight hours.
A mailbox was reported stolen at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday at 71710 Freeborn County Road 46. The incident allegedly occurred a previous night.
Domestic incidents reported
A report of a fight between two people was reported at 10:39 a.m. Tuesday at 1817 W. Ninth St. One person allegedly punched a dog, threatened someone and backed that person in a corner. No arrests were reported.
A report of two people arguing was reported at 1:14 p.m. Tuesday at 1009 Crestview Road. No arrests were reported.
Tobacco violation reported
A tobacco violation was reported at 11:39 a.m. Tuesday at 2000 Tiger Lane.
