1 arrested for DWI
Albert Lea police arrested Megan Elizabeth Whiting, 32, for driving while intoxicated and having a 0.08 blood alcohol content or more within two hours during a traffic stop at 12:49 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Wilson Street.
3 juveniles cited for violations
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited a 15-year-old for domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 9:18 p.m. Sunday at 81127 330th St. in the Ellendale area.
Police cited two juveniles after they were reportedly found with vaping pens at 10:45 p.m. Saturday at 2000 Tiger Lane. The juveniles were released to their parents.
4 arrested on warrants
Police arrested Travis Steven Runge, 41, for misdemeanor providing false information and three Martin County warrants after a male described as strange was walking in a neighborhood at 7:06 a.m. Saturday at 512 Wayside Ave.
Police arrested Christina Marie Jepson, 31, on a local warrant after disorderly conduct was reported at 10:51 a.m. Sunday at 604 Giles Place. Police cited Jepson for disorderly conduct.
Police arrested Eric John Techau, 42, on a local warrant at 12:01 a.m. Monday at 1427 Academy Ave.
Police arrested Adam John Churchill, 34, on a local warrant at 12:20 a.m. Monday at 313 N. 10th Ave.
Car in water reported
A car was reportedly in the water at 5:22 p.m. Friday at 501 W. Richway Drive. No injuries were reported.
Dog bite reported
A dog bite to a toddler’s cheek was reported at 2:56 p.m. Saturday at 503 Morin St. in Hartland.
Thefts, damage reported
Vandalism to a business was reported at 9:27 a.m. Saturday at Southern Lock & Glass, 316 Main Court. Someone allegedly spray pained “Hugs, not drugs” in large letters on the side of the building. The cost to repaint the area of the building was estimated at $300.
Four hundred and eighty dollars was reported stolen from an apartment at 1:06 p.m. Saturday at 920 W. Front St.
An out-building was reported broken into at 2:44 p.m. Sunday at 115 W. 11th St. A shed was reported broken into between Wednesday and Saturday. Tools were taken.
A portable/magnetic tail light/dual adapter was reported taken off a truck during the night at 8:49 a.m. Saturday at 509 W. Main St. The adapter was valued at $60.
Problems with a credit card were reported at 3:19 a.m. Saturday at Ramada, 2301 E. Main St. People in a hotel room allegedly would not come out to pay for a room.
Plates were reported stolen off a truck at 5:22 p.m. Sunday at 826 W. Clark St. The plates were reported stolen between last fall and Sunday.
