Pizza Ranch in Albert Lea has announced it’s under new ownership. The Albert Lea restaurant’s new owners are Mike and Lisa De Boer, Brent and Denise Tjeerdsma and Ryan and Marcia Achterhoff. The De Boers and Tjeerdsmas have owned and operated the Fairmont Pizza Ranch since opening it in June 2007. The Achterhoffs joined the De Boers and Tjeerdsmas in 2009 and together they own locations in Stewartville, Mankato and Austin, as well as Norfolk, Nebraska. Ryan Achterhoff has been in leadership of corporate Pizza Ranch for over 17 years.

John and Trisha Tietje will oversee the management of the Albert Lea location. John Tietje has been the general manager of the Austin Pizza Ranch since summer 2013, and Trisha Tietje serves as a key assistant in operations.

The new ownership team has been working on remodeling the restaurant since taking over Feb. 1.

“We are refreshing the restaurant and updating the look and feel. We encourage folks to come in and see the new look!” Trisha Tietje said.

The Albert Lea restaurant will reopen in mid-February.
