The Albert Lea Lakers will return for their third season in the Pioneer Baseball League. Coming off a dominating season in 2018, which saw them finish at the top of the standings in the regular season and cruise to a league championship, they will be led by new head coach Nate DeChaine.

The Lakers recently released their 2019 schedule. All games played Monday through Saturday  will start at 6:45 p.m. Sunday games will start at 4 p.m. Games Monday through Thursday will be seven innings long and Friday through Sunday will be nine innings long.
