Living Well with Chronic Conditions series to begin in Albert Lea

For adults living with an ongoing conditions, such as diabetes, fibromyalgia, arthritis, Parkinson’s, chronic pain, multiple sclerosis, heart disease, depression or other challenges, a class will provide support and encouragement with others who have similar concerns, according to a press release.
Participants will learn practical ways for confronting pain and fatigue, find nutrition and exercise ideas, and explore new methods for communicating with family and doctors about their health.
Living Well with Chronic Conditions, developed by Stanford University, is an educational program led by trained facilitators using Stanford’s curriculum.
Classes will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Mondays starting March 25 through April 29 at Thorne Crest Senior Living Community in Albert Lea.

The class is open to any age adult. Caregivers and couples are also welcome.
There is no cost, but donations are encouraged.
