Third graders from across the district had the opportunity to learn with high school teacher Ken Fiscus last week. Fiscus was in each of the four elementary buildings for half the day reteaching and extending on four of the third grade Minnesota science standards. Third grade teacher Clay Scott said he thought it was an amazing opportunity to have another teacher from within the district come into the schools to share his passion for a subject he teaches. The students were excited to learn about the universe and Fiscus was able to take that excitement and raise it to a whole new level, according to a press release. - Provided
