Woman arrested for meth possession

Angela Marie Tollefson was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday for driving after revocation, speeding, gross misdemeanor giving false information, possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of paraphernalia and fifth-degree methamphetamine possession after a traffic stop near the intersection of Interstate 90 and Broadway Street in Alden.

 

Thefts reported

A Smith & Wesson 380 was reported taken at 9:17 a.m. Tuesday from 13794 750th Ave., Glenville. The theft reportedly took place the day before.

Batteries and chargers were reported taken at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday from a shed at 82720 215th St., Hayward.

 

Burglary, damage reported

A burglary was reported at 9:54 a.m. Tuesday at 207 E. Fourth St. Moderate damage estimated at $250 was reported inside the building.

A car was reported damaged at 11:38 a.m. Tuesday at 2401 Gene Ave. Damage consisted of two broken tail lights, a punctured front passenger tire and spray paint on the side of the car. Damage was estimated at $2,000.

Damage was reported to a garage at 3:09 p.m. Tuesday at 1035 S. Newton Ave.

 

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Eric John Techau, 43, on a local warrant at 2:07 p.m. Tuesday at 1427 Academy Ave.

John Harris Spence, 18, turned himself in on a local warrant at 1:29 a.m. Wednesday at 411 S. Broadway.

 

Counterfeit bill reported at business

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at 6:34 p.m. Tuesday at 701 S. Broadway. The person had reportedly received it as change from the purchase of a water softener the day before.
