Compcare, a new medical urgent care and occupational medicine clinic, is now open in Owatonna. Compcare caters to everyone, including employers seeking healthcare services.

According to a press release, Compcare will improve access to healthcare in southern Minnesota while offering a one-stop solution to evaluation and treatment of common injuries and illnesses. From caring healthcare providers to online scheduling and short wait times, Compcare understands what patients want and knows how to expedite visits, the release states.

Testing for strep throat, influenza, pink eye and mononucleosis are performed in the office laboratory, along with other common lab work. An onsite pharmacy saves additional trips after visits and X-rays are available in the radiology suite. Common vaccinations and orthopedic braces are also available. For those with concerns for sleep apnea, a comfortable home testing solution is available. Phone and tablet-based visits are coming soon.

If you have a high deductible or no insurance, a self-pay option provides transparent affordable pricing with the average visit costing less than $200. Compcare is in-network with many insurance companies, including Blue Cross and Health Partners. FSA/HSA cards are accepted.

Employer services include workers’s compensation injury management, drug and alcohol testing, physical exams, DOT services, military services, audiometric testing, pulmonary function testing, X-ray, mask fit testing, vaccinations, lift testing, military contracting, mobile onsite services and more.

Compcare is now open at 1232 S. Oak Ave. Suite 130 in Owatonna, three blocks north of Hy-Vee.
