Ladyne Keller, 1932-2019

Funeral services for Ladyne Keller of Albert Lea will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy. The Rev. John Kerr will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Riceville, Iowa.
Ladyne died Thursday, May 2, 2019, at St. John’s Lutheran Community in Albert Lea. She was 86.
Ladyne was born Oct. 19, 1932, in Monterey, Indiana, the daughter of Louis and Venus (Lewis) Engel. She graduated from Monterey High School and was united in marriage to Carl J. Keller in Monterey. She had been a resident of LeRoy since 1968, working as a bookkeeper for the John Deere dealership.
Ladyne had been a member of First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy. She enjoyed being a farm wife, loved to crochet and was an avid bowler, but most important were her children and grandchildren.
Ladyne is survived by her children Brenda (Richard) Grunder of Wilton, Iowa, Blaine Keller of Chester, Iowa, and Brent (Pam) Keller of Alden; grandchildren Chris (Amanda) Keller, Angela (Jeff) Schlatter, Ashley (Cory) Lubbert, Kyle (Theresa) Keller, Kayla (Jay) Byington, Erik (Shelby) Grunder, Carlee Grunder, Skye Keller, Summer Keller, Max Keller and Ariel Keller; great-grandchildren Ella, Clara and Jack Keller, Mercedes Keller, Isabella and Chase Schlatter, Reagan, Brooklyn and Paige Lubbert, Kassidy and Kayden Keller, Emma James (EJ) and Lucy Byington and Liv Grunder; daughter-in-law, Debbie Keller, of Riceville; brother, Ed Engel, of Ronan, Montana; sister, Viv Maes, of Rochester, Indiana; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; son, Brad; and brother, Don Engel.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or Hospice.
