Aaron Bartholmey and Alison Engel of Colfax, Iowa, were married March 16, 2019, at First Lutheran Church in Newton, Iowa.

The bride is the daughter of Michelle Engel of Oskaloosa, Iowa, and Gary and Tamme Engel of Lacey, Iowa, and the granddaughter of Frank and Judy Greenhalgh of Oskaloosa. She is a 2006 graduate of Oskaloosa High School and a 2010 graduate of Wartburg College. She teaches talented and gifted students.

The groom is the son of Bill and Mary Bartholmey of Albert Lea and the grandson of Helen Baker of Albert Lea and Deloris Bartholmey of New Richland. His is a 2005 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2009 graduate of Wartburg College. He is a math teacher.
