Ashley Hanson and Tanner Shaft of Albert Lea announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Phalen Seedorf and Angela Williams of Albert Lea and the granddaughter of Russell and Diane VonHagen of Clarks Grove. She is a 2015 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2019 graduate of Minnesota State University-Mankato, where she majored in social work. She is a senior advocate.

The groom is the son of Jeff and Joy Shaft of Albert Lea and the grandson of Jack Putters of Norfolk, Nebraska. He is a 2014 graduate of Albert Lea High School. He is a sushi chef at Hy-Vee.

An Oct. 26, 2019, wedding is planned at Christ Episcopal Church in Albert Lea.
