A.L. student recognized

Lange Solveig of Albert Lea was recognized on the dean’s list at Concordia College for the fall semester. To qualify for the designation, students must carry a minimum of 12 semester credits and have a grade point average of at least a 3.7 on a 4.0 scale.

Lake Mills student honored

Anthony Bush of Lake Mills, a criminal justice major, was named to the Upper Iowa University dean’s list for the fall semester.

Riverland Community College releases president’s list

Several area students were listed on Riverland Community College’s president’s list. Among those honored were Zachary Rice, Markie Sorenson, Dan Stallkamp, Holly Tabor, Andrew Willner and Samual Yoon of Albert Lea; Christian Vokoun of Alden; Ammy Puello and Benjamin Smith of Ellendale; Michael Pederson of Geneva; Connor Veldman of Hollandale; Tyler Raimann and Kennady Rice of New Richland; and Andrew Wigern of Walters.

Wells student graduates  from St. Cloud

St. Cloud State University graduated more than 700 students during the fall 2018 semester. Among the graduates was Taylor Steckelberg, who graduated summa cum laude. Steckelberg majored in social work.

A.L. student on KU honor roll

Tyler Steele of Albert Lea earned a distinction on the University of Kansas dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester. Steele is attending the university’s College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.
