Alexandria Jahnke and Creighton Jenness of Marshalltown, Iowa, announce their engagement.

Jahnke is the daughter of Steven and Penny Jahnke of Albert Lea and the granddaughter of Jerry and Elaine Jahnke of Alden. She is the great-granddaughter of Melvin Mattson of Alden.

She is a 2013 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2017 graduate of Iowa State University, where she majored in elementary education. She is a kindergarten through fourth grade STEM and English as a second language teacher.

Jenness is the son of Victor and Lois Jenness of Marshalltown and the grandson of Lola Relph of Marshalltown.

He is a 2005 graduate of Marshalltown High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, where he majored in education. He is an instructional coach.

A July 27, 2019, wedding is planned in Albert Lea.
