4 arrested for drunk driving

Police cited Dillon Douglas Sprague for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and felony fleeing at 9:15 p.m. Friday at 606 S. Broadway after receiving a report of dirt bikes on railroad tracks not stopping through construction.

Police arrested Shelby Boyd Eggum, 21, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 2:19 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Morningside Road and Marshall Street.

Police arrested Terraina Lanae Wheeler, 33, for second-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 3:56 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Garfield Avenue and East Main Street.

Deputies arrested Nicholas Wayne Thamez, 25, for third-degree driving while intoxicated, second-degree test refusal, open bottle and driving after suspension after a careless driving complaint at 1:41 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 90 near the 169 mile marker.

 

Hit-and-run reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 11:41 p.m. Saturday at the fairgrounds at 1105 Bridge Ave.

 

Check forgery reported

Check forgery was reported at 11:57 a.m. Friday at 2222 E. Main St.

Police received a report on Friday of checks on an Austin account passed at 906 W. Front St., 1619 W. Main St. and 2430 Bridge Ave.

 

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested John Anthony Garza, 39, on two felony warrants at 2:07 p.m. Friday at 1550 Blake Ave.

Police arrested Andria Alizabeth Baas, 36, on a warrant at 11:13 p.m. Saturday at 420 W. Main St. in Glenville.

 

1 arrested for theft

Police arrested Daniel Edward Shaw, 32, for theft at 4:41 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

A gas drive-off valued at $121 was reported at 3:22 p.m. Saturday at 105 North Star Road in Alden.

 

Damage reported

A pop-up camper was reported egged at 6:14 p.m. Friday at 207 S. Independence Ave. in Clarks Grove.

Deputies arrested Abbie-Rae Nicole Oakland, 33, for a probation violation at 3:20 p.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway.

Deputies cited Brandon Hugh Vogt, 19, for underage drinking at 11:56 p.m. Friday at the Freeborn County Fair, 1105 Bridge Ave.

 

2 arrested for domestic assault

Deputies arrested Jeffrey Joseph Monacy, 50, for domestic assault at 2:07 a.m. Saturday at 305 Center St. in Freeborn.

Police arrested Christine Catherine Thofson, 45, at 2:01 a.m. Saturday for domestic assault at 918 Lincoln Ave.
