Cali Adams and Hunter Hoyne of rural Oakland announce their engagement.

Adams is the daughter of Tom and Jodi Adams of Hollandale, and the granddaughter of Leo and Bonnie Bridley of Austin and Lois Adams of rural Albert Lea.

She is a 2016 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2018 graduate of North Iowa Area Community College, where she majored in agricultural marketing and finance. She is an office manager.

Hoyne is the son of Wayne Hoyne of Emmons and Traci Peterson of Albert Lea, and the grandson of Gary and Connie Hoyne and Corald and Connie Peterson, all of Albert Lea.

He is a 2014 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2016 graduate of Riverland Community College, where he majored in diesel technology. He is a diesel technician.

A Sept. 7, 2019, wedding is planned at Oakland Lutheran Church.
