The Women Veterans of Freeborn County joined together with Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea staff as a part of Kindness Counts to collect donations for those in need. The group collected 2,986 items and $306, which will benefit veterans groups, the crisis center and The Five Sisters Project. - Provided

Albert Lea Employee Well-Being Champions hosted the Kindness Counts Challenge to collect toiletries, personal care items and clothing. Items will be distributed to the Veterans Administration office, Veterans Administration Clinic, the Albert Lea Crisis Center, Five Sisters Project and Minnesota women veterans. - Provided
