Mary Denise Ness and Christopher Michael Emery were married July 27, 2019, in an outdoor ceremony on a farm in Albert Lea.

The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Eileen Woyen of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Rev. Steve Bierly from the bride’s hometown of Hull, Iowa.

The reception was at Holiday Inn in Austin.

The bride’s sister, Claire Gillespey, was the maid of honor. The bride’s daughters Sondra Ness and Alyssa Ness were the bridesmaids.

Todd Visscher, friend of the groom, was the best man and friends Larry Brown and Tyler Jahnke were groomsmen.

The bride’s brother, John Dekoster, gave her away.

The couple flew to Hawaii to take a four-island cruise for their honeymoon.
