Albert Lea’s Granicrete Minnesota, a decorative concrete company, will be featured in the Minneapolis Home & Garden Show’s Idea Home, according to a press release. This is the fourth year that Granicrete has been selected to be included with other  vendors used in the home that is built  on-site inside of Minneapolis Convention Center.

Inspiration for the design for the 2020 home comes from the theme of the “Forever Home.”  The interior spaces are shaped by drawing on guidelines of Universal Design, ADA and National Kitchen & Bath Association accessible standards.

By building on those standards, they turn the house into a home with color, texture and delightful whimsy to feature a sampling  of systems and techniques that make everyday life easier to live, regardless of age or ability, the release stated.

Granicrete Minnesota will provide the kitchen and island countertops, bathroom vanity top, shower surround and the fireplace walls.
