Duplicate Bridge

Duplicate bridge was played Dec. 31. Nine teams vied for places and prizes at the Senior Center in Austin. Winners were Jim Fisher and Dave Ring, first place; Joyce Crowe and Millie Siever, second place; Tom Flaherty and Stan Schultz, third place; Vandy Newman and Ron Peters, fourth place; and Larry Crowe and Bill Momsen, fifth place.

Players came from Mason City, Rose Creek and Austin.  As the new year begins, the group will be on schedule — 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays and noon Wednesdays at the Senior Center in Austin. The Third St. Cafe  is open for lunch both days. All bridge players are encouraged to bring a partner and play with the groups.
