I am writing to thank all the good Democrats for coming to the caucuses on Tuesday, Feb. 25. The room was crowded with 89 people attending and 17 people presenting nonattendance forms entitling them to attend future conventions. We were indeed Democrats — passing 73 resolutions on issues regarding agriculture, human rights, education, energy, the environment and a “right to fix bill,” which would enable consumers access to parts and information for repairs. 

The conversations were lively, the cookies delicious and the speeches enlightening.

Thanks to all who helped organize the event and to those who attended keeping democracy alive.
