The Nortonna Lodge 1-638 of the Sons of Norway will meet at 7 p.m. March 16, according to a press release. Supper will be served at 6 p.m. for $8 at Owatonna Elks Lodge, 126 E. Vine St.

The March program features guest speaker Pati Kachel, a full-time professional storyteller with The Parable Fund in Minneapolis. Her program is entitled “Ya Sure, I’m a Norvegin Luteran.” Kachel will share stories honoring her heritage as a Norwegian Lutheran. With songs, humor and historical information, she tells tales of her pioneer ancestors’ immigration from Norway to their Minnesota homestead by Paynesville, the release stated.
