Have you ever done something stupid? Maybe said something mean? Talked behind someone’s back? Cheated? Stolen? Been unfaithful in actions? Cut the corner, just a bit? Told a little white lie? Or, worse yet, a bigger lie? Have you ever been less than kind, loving and forthright?

Well, let me introduce you to amazing grace. No matter the bumps, no matter the bruises, no matter the scars; still, the truth is the cross has made you flawless. No matter the hurt, or how deep the wound is, no matter the pain; still, the truth is the cross has made you flawless.

Could it possibly be that we simply can’t believe that this unconditional kind of love would be enough to take a filthy wretch like this and wrap him up in righteousness? But that’s exactly what he did; still the truth is the cross has made you flawless. No matter what they say or what you think you are, the day you called his name he made you flawless.

Take a breath, smile and say “Right here, right now, I’m OK, because the cross was enough.” And like a hero who takes the stage when we’re on the edge of our seats saying it’s too late, well, let me introduce you to grace. (“Flawless” song words by MercyMe).

His amazing grace.

“That he would leave his place on high and come for sinful man to die. You count it strange, so once did I before I knew my savior; my savior loves, my savior lives, my savior’s always there for me. My God he was, my God, he is, my God is always gonna be.” — Casting Crowns’ “ My Savior Lives, My Savior Loves”

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ — by grace you have been saved — and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:4-8 English Standard Version

“But by the grace of God there go I.” — John Bradford

Flawless in his sight; soaking up his mercy, which is new every day! Come sit beside me, in his grace. Thank you, Jesus, for that grace.
