Daily COVID-19 update: 11 new cases reported in Freeborn County

Freeborn County reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing its total cumulative cases since the start of the pandemic to 170.
Of the total, 101 people are now out of isolation, and one person remains hospitalized, according to the Freeborn County Public Health Department.
The new cases included one person between 10 and 20, three people in their 20s, three people in their 30s, one person in their 40s, two in their 50s and one in their 60s.
The Minnesota Department of Health stated Mower County reported 36 new cases, and has now had 482 cases. Faribault and Steele counties reported one new case each for a total of 23 and 171, respectively. Waseca County had two new cases and has had 31 cases.
Statewide, there were 526 newly reported cases Saturday, for total cumulative positive cases at 27,501 statewide.
Twenty-two new deaths were reported from Anoka, Goodhue, Hennepin, Meeker, Olmsted, Ramsey, Stearns, Todd and Washington counties. Fourteen of the 22 deaths were residents in long-term care or assisted living facilities.
The department stated 22,253 people no longer are in isolation across the state, and 473 people are hospitalized, including 206 in intensive care.
Hennepin County has had the most cases throughout the state with 9,255 positive cases and 667 deaths. Other counties with high numbers include Ramsey County with 3,445 positive cases and 152 deaths, Stearns County with 2,063 positive cases and 15 deaths, and Anoka County with 1,555 cases and 81 deaths.
