Cassandra Gilster and Jacob Wallin of Rochester announce their engagement.

The bride to be is the daughter of Don and Darcie Gilster of Hartland and is the granddaughter of Flo Gilster and Bill Sager of Albert Lea. She is a 2015 graduate of Alden-Conger and a 2019 graduate of University of Sioux Falls, majoring in nursing RN at St. Mary’s in Rochester.

The groom to be is the son of Mark and Amy Wallin of Alden and is the grandson of Doug and Julie Wallin and Gail Read of Northwood. He is a 2016 graduate of Alden-Conger and a 2019 graduate of University of Wisconsin-Platteville, majoring in mechanical engineering. He is a systems engineer at Oshkosh/McNeilus in Dodge Center.

After postponing their wedding due to COVID-19, Cassie and Jacob will have a small wedding on July 4, 2020, with plans for a reception and dance sometime in the future when venues are at full capacity.
