Holiday Bazaar
Come to downtown Albert Lea from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday for a magical night. There will be live reindeer, carolers, horse drawn wagon rides, photos with Santa, visits with the Grinch, games with Buddy the Elf at Homestead Boutique, hot chocolate and goodies, store specials and pop-ups and the Santa Cruise. Register your float at (https://forms.gle/wjMQxC9baLVxFaNf6). Don’t forget to come to Central Park at 6:30 p.m. for the Trail of Enchantment tree lighting ceremony.

Live music
Acoustic duo Bourbon Stiletto will perform at 112 On Broadway from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. Acoustic Stiletto plays covers from country to rock and everything in between.

Live Drive-Thru Nativity
Gather the entire family to drive through key scenes depicting the Nativity story. On Friday and Saturday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., come to New Life Christian Church and see Mary and Joseph as they journey to Bethlehem for the birth of Jesus Christ. Witness shepherds, angels, Roman soldiers, wisemen, animals and more as you travel through the show from the comfort and warmth of your vehicle. The event is free and open to the public.

Lake Mills Holiday Festival
Spend the day in Lake Mills on Saturday for the Lake Mills Holiday Festival. There will be Christmas cookie decorating and Christmas crafts at the library from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., a holiday retail scavenger hunt from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., a free viewing of the movie “The Star” (PG) at the Mills Theater at 1 p.m. followed by a visit from Santa at 2:30 p.m. and a Christmas Light Car Cruise from 5 to 8 p.m. and more. Twilight Tour of Homes
Celebrate Lake Mills’ heritage this Friday at the 2023 Twilight Tour of Homes by the Lake Mills Historical Society. From 4 to 7 p.m., selected historical homes will be open for guests to view and admire. Stop in at the 1901 Victorian House for bread pudding and other Christmas goodies. Tickets are $20 and available at each home, allowing viewers to begin and end at any home they want.
