Carter Christmas Lights Show

Come and see over 45,000 Christmas lights accompanied by four modern holiday hits. The lights show runs every 10 minutes from 5 to 9 p.m. through Dec. 30 and until 10 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. All donations this year will go to The Children’s Center in Albert Lea. More information can be found at https://www.carterxmas.com/.

Christmas storytime at Sojourner’s Church

Come to Sojourner’s Church at 9 a.m. Wednesday with children of all ages and enjoy a Christmas-themed story time. Activities will include story reading and songs with Molly Grimmius as well as coloring, a snack and a free book to take home. Carpenter Coffee Co. will be on site, and each family will receive a voucher for a free drink to enjoy during the story time event. Sojourner’s Church is at 1679 W. Main St. in Albert Lea.

Santa and Mrs. Clause at Swallowhouse Coffee

Join Swallowhouse Coffee in Lake Mills for a milk and cookie party with Santa and Mrs. Claus on Saturday. The event takes place from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and all ages are invited. Guests must provide their own camera to take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Swallowhouse’s normal Saturday menu will also be available for guests to purchase.

Christmas storytime at First Presbyterian Church

All ages are welcome to join First Presbyterian Church in Albert Lea for Christmas Storytime from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday. There will be music, games, hot cocoa, Christmas cookies and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Christmas storytime at AJ’s Book Hideaway

Come enjoy a snack and Christmas themed storytime at AJ’s Book Hideaway from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Participants are invited to bring a blanket and wear their Christmas PJs. This is a free community event but participants are asked to go to https://fb.me/e/gRdM6QOw5 to let the owner know you are coming.
