Tiger girls basketball traveled to Winona Friday and ultimately lost 78 to 48.

The game saw some highlights, however, with the Tigers out rebounding Winona, 34 to 29.

The Tigers were led by junior Nevaeh Wacholz with a double double. She finished the night with 27 points and 11 rebounds.

The rest of the Tiger scoring was evenly distributed between seniors Liz Wallace and Lexi Jones, junior Jaelyn Boss, sophomore Hallee Godeke and freshman Aliyah Heideman.

Boss also contributed eight rebounds to the night.

The Tigers will play at home Tuesday against Worthington. 9A will start at 4:45 p.m. with JV at 6 p.m. and varsity at 7:30 p.m.
