NOTICE OF APPLICATION
TO ASSUME DEPOSITS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that AmeriNat (as defined below), on behalf of First Bank and Trust Company of Illinois, 300 East Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL 60067 (the “Bank”), has filed an application with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for permission to assume certain deposit liabilities for which AmeriNational Community Services, LLC (“AmeriNat”), 217 S. Newton Ave., Albert Lea, Minnesota 56007, serves as agent and/or custodian. The assumption of deposits is expected to occur in connection with a proposal by AmeriNat to acquire the Bank’s holding company, Northwest Bancorporation of Illinois, Palatine, Illinois. Any person wishing to comment on this application may file his or her comments in writing with the regional director of the FDIC’s Chicago Regional Office at 300 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 1700, Chicago, Illinois 60606, not later than January 14, 2024. The non-confidential portions of the application are on file at the appropriate FDIC office and are available for public inspection during regular business hours. Photocopies of the non-confidential portion of the application file will be made available upon request.
