Injuries were reported Thursday evening after a crash involving four vehicles on Interstate 35 near milepost 10 in Albert Lea.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, none of the injuries were life-threatening.
The reported stated a 2015 Ford Focus, driven by Gabriel Robert Twaddle, 20, of Emmons, was southbound on Interstate 35 right before 5:30 p.m. when it left the roadway and struck median cables and then came to rest in the left lane.
A southbound 2019 Honda CRV, driven by Duard Dewayne Birkhofer, 73, of Albert Lea, collided with the Focus.
A third vehicle, a 2021 Kia Forte, driven by Kevin Paul Sime, 55, of Des Moines, then pulled over to render aid, and that vehicle, while unoccupied, was struck by a 2016 Dodge Caravan, driven by Bridgette Annette Tedder, 43, of Manly.
The report stated a passenger in the Caravan, Yanira Mejia, 40, of Hampton, Iowa, received non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.
Twaddle was also injured, but the report does not indicated that he was taken to a hospital.
The report states all of the occupants in the four vehicles were wearing their seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor.
