The Albert Lea Civil War Roundtable will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Freeborn County Historical Museum. Vince Bergdale, the presenter, will detail the Minnesota Fifth Regiment, Company C and it’s involvement in the Civil War and more specifically the US-Dakota War of 1862. Company C involved many Albert Leans including Frank Blackmer, Francis (Frank) Hall, Andrew Gulbrandson, among others.

A Q and A will follow the presentation with a book door prize giveaway. This event is free to the public.
