Summary of School Board Minutes

The School Board of Independent School District 241 met in a study session following the truth-in-taxation hearing on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 6:15 p.m. in the Board Room at Brookside Education Center, 211 West Richway Drive, Albert Lea, MN. School Board members present:
Dave Klatt, Neal Skaar, Bruce Olson, Angie Hoffman, Kim Nelson and Gary Schindler. Board members absent: Davy Villarreal Administrator present Superintendent Ron Wagner.
1. Celebrating District Successes: Employee of the Month.
September 2023 – Andrew Gustafson, and October 2023 – Carrie Kirsch
2. Motion to approve agenda as presented. Motion carried 6-0
3. Motion to approve 2023 Pay 2024 Final Levy as presented in Truth-In-Taxation hearing. Motion carried 5-1
4. Motion to approve LTFM Plan as presented. Motion carried 6-0
5. Tonya Franks presented the World’s Best Work Force.
