Tigers boys’ hockey team falls to section champs

The Tigers boy’s hockey team faced reigning Section 1A champion Northfield on Saturday.

Northfield’s offensive attack was good as the Tigers competed hard with the  No. 7-ranked team in Class A but fell 7-3.

Albert Lea’s goals came from Jacob Kolker, Derrek Laite and Eli Farris, with Sam Stay and Chet Hansen each having one assist.

Albert Lea goalie Ledger Stadheim had 29 saves.
