NOTICE OF FINAL ACCEPTANCE HEARING BOARD
OF COMMISSIONERS
OF FREEBORN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
DRAINAGE AUTHORITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF BRANCH A, FREEBORN COUNTY DITCH J21

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Board of Commissioners of Freeborn County, Minnesota, Drainage Authority for Freeborn County Ditch (CD) J21 will hold a public hearing at 9:15 a.m. on January 2, 2024, at the Freeborn County Government Center, 411 S. Broadway Avenue, Albert Lea, MN. The purpose of the hearing is to review the engineer’s report to the drainage authority pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 103E.555 showing that the contract to construct the improvement to Branch A of Freeborn County Ditch J21 is complete. The engineer’s report has been filed with the drainage authority and is available for public inspection. Any party objecting to the acceptance of the contract may appear at the hearing and be heard. Written comments will be accepted at the hearing and by email or U.S. mail through the date of the hearing to the Freeborn County Auditor’s office (kelly.hendrickson@co.freeborn.mn.us or Freeborn County Auditor’s Office, Attn: Kelly D. Hendrickson, 411 S. Broadway, P.O. Box 1147, Albert Lea, MN 56007.
The following properties are affected by the improvement proceedings: Hartland Township, T104N-R22W, Section 36; Manchester Township, T103N-R22W, Sections 1, 2, and 12; and Bancroft Township, T103N-R21W, Section 6 and 7; all in Freeborn County.
