It’s cold outside, and the only antidote to the January blues is to get out and about. With this in mind, the Freeborn County DFL (Democratic Farmer Labor) Party is holding a mid-January potluck to warm you up.

The DFL potluck will be held this coming Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Union Center (1407 N. Highway 13 in Albert Lea). There will be food to pass, drinks, good company and a round table discussion of national, state and local issues.

The event is free. Please come, bring a dish to pass and enjoy a great evening with friends and neighbors.
