Dangerously cold wind chills remain in area

A wind chill warning has shifted into a wind chill advisory for Albert Lea and the surrounding area though dangerous wind chills are still expected to continue through Tuesday morning.
According to the National Weather Service, widespread values of 25 to 35 degrees below zero are still possible.
The weather agency advises that the cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 15 minutes.
People should continue to use caution while traveling outside and wear appropriate clothing, including a hat and gloves.
Temperatures warm up slightly on Wednesday with wind chills in the single digits to teens below zero.
