Tiger Sharks swim team heading to state

Tiger Sharks Swim Team is making waves as they gear up for the upcoming YMCA State Swim meet on Sunday at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
A total of 10 swimmers have qualified to represent the Albert Lea Family YMCA at the state meet, according to a press release. Among them are Reed Bohonek, Stella Vu, Izzy Gaston, Caroline Sanders, Hadley Larsen, Lauren Bohonek, Anders Levisen, Mckenzie Fields, Amiah Larsen and Hatty Adams.
These dedicated athletes have demonstrated proficiency across various swimming disciplines, from freestyle to breaststroke and beyond, the release stated.
Under the guidance of head coach Lindsey Eagan, assistant coach Nate Sanders and practice coaches Anna Anderson, Mckenzie Fields and Hatty Adams, the swimmers have been training since October.
