3 children injured in crash on I-35

Three children were taken to the hospital for injuries early Friday morning after a vehicle reportedly rolled on Interstate 35 south of Albert Lea.
Mariangel Mejias Ramos, 6, Marioangel Meejias Ramos, less than 1, and Maviam Mejias Ramos, 12, all of Houston, Texas, were taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The injuries were listed as not life-threatening.
The crash report states Mizrain Mejias Conde, 41, of Houston, was driving the 2004 Isuzu Axiom southbound on I-35 near milepost 2 at about 12:20 a.m. Friday when the car collided with the median cable barrier and rolled into the left lane of northbound 35.
Conde was not injured, along with passenger Maria Ramos Abreu, 35, also of Houston.
Roads were listed as snow and ice-covered at the time of the crash.
