On August 27, 1955, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Fischer, at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Albert Lea. Together the couple raised four children, Kevin, Keith, Kent, and Dwayne.
Delores found joy in the simple things in life, relishing the comfort of her home, the laughter of loved ones, and the thrill of a lively game of Bingo. Her days were enriched by the warmth of her kitchen as she lovingly canned fruits and vegetables for her family to enjoy. Throughout her life, Delores got the most joy from being with her family, her siblings, and her close friends.
Those left to cherish Delores’s memory include three sons, Kent Fischer, Kevin (Layle) Fischer, and Dwayne (Amy) Fischer; and three grandchildren, Daniel, Owen and Avery Fischer. In addition to her parents, Joseph and Stella, Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; a son, Keith; and five siblings, Rita, Claude, Martha, Lecretia, and Lucille.
